I have heard nothing but good things about the awesome custom lunch box! Everyone stops me to tell me how cute they are. Do you have yours yet? It’s not too late!

I took some photos of my son’s custom box to further show you how really cool they are! My favorite part is how they come apart so they are SUPER EASY TO CLEAN! It came in handy today when he brought it home and had cake crumbles all over the inside. =) Both face plates are removable and the ENTIRE THING (except the photo plates) is dishwasher safe, or in my case, sink-washing safe! The photo plates can be wiped with a damp cloth.

Can you believe it’s almost time for school again?! The stores are stocking school supplies already and we’re all starting to think about all the things we need to get for our kiddos to prepare them for the 2010-2011 school year. My goal this year is to try and make a lunch for my child every day to encourage his already healthy eating habits. This, of course, requires planning on my part so I guess it’s time for me to start back with my “weekly meal plans” and cooking a little extra each night for him to have the next day at school. Lucky for me he loves raw veggies, so that’ll be the easy part!

This handsome little guy decided to make his debut a little early. Luckily, mom and I had already been in contact with one another and had his session ready – all we needed was him! I was very fortunate to see this sweet baby again last week. I haven’t seen him since his newborn session last year, so I was amazed at ALL of the curly hair he has!! This little guy has a big story, so it was truly an honor to photograph him again. Be sure to scroll down to the last one – my favorite!!

I had the pleasure of photographing this beauty last week. To say that her Mommy and Daddy are “in love” is an understatement! It was clear that this sweet girl is going to receive so much love in her life, which I think is just AWESOME! Dad even mentioned that she is already completely wrapped around his finger.

Look at this precious little girl! She was so serious for most of the session. When we put her on my new blanket she really got serious, and curious, and was checking out that black and white pattern in front her face. It was so cute.


Then her momma tickled her and got her laughing. Look at that sweet dimple.

Last Christmas I gave away a session on my Facebook fan page and these were the lucky winners! We were rained out and had to reschedule a few times, but I think it was worth the wait!

When we lived in Dallas, the view of my daily drive was looking at someone’s bumper and passing by store after store, building after building. It was simply, a concrete jungle. Every now and then there would be that one spot in the middle of that jungle where someone had held onto their land and all you would see was pasture. Gorgeous green pasture. I loved looking at those pastures. In the midst of the chaos and stress, they were peaceful and calming.

These days, I don’t just live in the country. I live in the sticks, in the country. I don’t hear traffic. I don’t hear airplanes. I hear birds. I don’t see buildings, stores and concrete. I see pasture, trees and a dirt road. I see the beauty of God’s work. No chaos. No stress.

The “A Team” had their spring session last week. I love seeing them and seeing how much they change from session to session. The baby is sitting up now, the toddler is as busy as she was last fall (momma got a workout!) and the older girls are prettier than ever. Here’s your sneak peek, mom!
