I’ve known this two-week old baby girl’s family for several years now so it was a special treat for me to get to photograph her. She arrived asleep, and slept through ALL of the moving around and clothing changes, and only woke up a couple of times for a light snack. It was almost unbelievable.

When I took this shot I could see that she looks just like her big brother.


And, as you can see, he’s a cutie too!


I love this picture of her and her momma, and I suspect this won’t be the last time she’s safe in Daddy’s hands.



Her momma loves to ride horses, so she brought her saddle along. I had a different shot in mind for the saddle, but baby girl wasn’t having any part of posing the way I needed her to so we had to go for something different. I think it turned out pretty cute!

This little lady arrived a couple of weeks earlier than planned so she was nearly two weeks old at her modeling debut, and she rocked it! She was just about to fall asleep when I arrived and was setting up, and after flipping the switch on the heater and using my magic trick hands she was out like a light. She slept the entire time and didn’t wake up until the end of the session. We moved her several times and changed her clothes several times, but she did not care one bit.

This sweet boy was one of the easiest newborns I’ve photographed (no offense to the rest of you!). While he was awake, he kept those newborn hands and legs still and it didn’t take long for him to go to sleep and stay asleep. Is he cute, or what?!

I love how he has his hand tucked under his chin.

And check this out! This boy is surrounded by the family blueberry farm! Hillcrest Blueberry Farm has acres and acres of blueberry bushes. This coming spring they’ll also have strawberries. My son would be in heaven at their house! I was so excited to find that there was a blueberry farm so close to home, and can’t wait to go visit them when they open back up on the spring!!

This handsome little guy decided to make his debut a little early. Luckily, mom and I had already been in contact with one another and had his session ready – all we needed was him! I had the pleasure of photographing this beauty last week. To say that her Mommy and Daddy are “in love” is an understatement! It was clear that this sweet girl is going to receive so much love in her life, which I think is just AWESOME! Dad even mentioned that she is already completely wrapped around his finger.

These sweet little boys were born very early and after four months are finally home from the hospital. Mr. C decided he’d sack out for me right away and get his session over with, but his brother, Mr. P thought otherwise. He either figured a) I couldn’t be trusted so he was having no part of sleeping for his session, or b) he couldn’t get enough of me and wanted me to come back the next day. I’d like to think that he loved me so much he wanted me to come back. =)

This sweet girl was unbelievable when it came to sleeping. She let me move, pose and photograph her for a long time. Just when I’d think she was going to let out a wail, she’d only whimper and keep on sleeping. She has a beautiful room, fit for a princess like herself, so we shot the entire session in there. I met Baby J last week and am just now able to post a sneak peek. His room was adorable and he was such a good baby. He wasn’t really interested in sleeping much – he wanted to be a part of whatever was going on (much like my son was, er….is). Enjoy your sneak peek Mom & Dad!

Meet Baby K. His momma is the sister of one of my clients and I was thrilled when she called and asked me to photograph her new little man. I went to High School with this beautiful girl’s Dad. He and his wife have lived in Hollywood for years and just recently moved back to East Texas.
