Portrait Party – East Texas Child Photographer

We had a fabulous time at the portrait party Saturday, hosted by Create-A-Critter in Center, TX. If you’ve never visited their store, you should. Natalie, the owner, is super sweet and she has so many cute animals for your child to choose from to stuff and dress, plus she recently started carrying gorgeous and fun hair bows for girls. She also creates buckets for all occasions. Most recently she’s been creating some to match halloween costumes for trick-or-treating! She also hosts birthday parties – tea parties seem to be a favorite for the girls! Go by there when you get a chance and check it out. She’s on Shelbyville Street next to Teacher Warehouse.

Not everyone who was scheduled for the party was able to make it, but we managed to have fun anyway! The kids enjoyed having their pictures made as much as their goodie bags and cupcakes! Everyone had their portraits made inside AND outside so there was plenty of variety. Thanks to all who brought your kiddos! Here is a sneak peek of a few.

I can’t finish this post without sharing some vendor love! The GORGEOUS mums came from Natural Springs Garden Center and Nursery in Natchitoches, LA. The halloween tutu with the cute spider and fairy wings came from my new favorite store, Skippity Doo Da in Natchitoches, La. The hay came from Southland Feed & Supply in Center, Tx. They were even sweet enough to carry it over to Create-A-Critter for us! Thanks guys!! The little wooden wheelbarrow came from Canton First Monday Trade Days and the pumpkins are from Brookshire Brothers in Center, Tx.

My husband grew several pumpkins this spring that we harvested this summer and kept in the house until now. They kept really well, so we’ve been able to decorate the porch and even carved our halloween pumpkin today. Our son loved getting the pumpkin guts out!
