My sincerest gratitude goes out to each and every one of you who allowed me to photograph you, your family and/or your children this year. Being a photographer really is an almost lifelong dream come true for me. “Almost” lifelong, because I only started dreaming of it some twenty years ago. To say I’m “happy” is an understatement. It really is a deep feeling, therefore I believe it is joy. The Bible has taught me that joy is much more than happiness. Joy is abiding and comes from God. I’ll save you from the long testimony as to how I believe God led me to where I am today for another time, but it is something I truly believe. With that, I believe that there is a greater cause for my photography and pray that I can put my talents to use through joining that greater cause in 2009.

To my current and future clients, I look forward to continuing to serve you throughout the years, and wish you all many blessings and abiding joy.

I’ll be out of pocket tomorrow while I work the election. I hope that you all go out and vote. It is my wish that everyone vote for themselves, and not for the masses (which is not a statement for or against either candidate).

If you are interested in booking a session for Christmas, you still have time. The cutoff date for clients wanting prints/cards back in time for Christmas is November 15th, but I still have spaces open. Most of the open dates for Christmas sessions are weekdays, however there is still a Saturday date open (Nov 8).

Several folks I’ve spoken with have asked if they needed to have their Christmas tree up, or if they needed to dress “Christmas-y”. The answer to that is no. Let your Christmas card represent the Christmas part.
